CGI/PERL

The Path to Perl = c:\PERL\BIN You do not need to call perl.exe - for example !/perl/perl.exe. The response is automatic.

Your hosting account is configured to use Active State Perl. Full documentation for Active State Perl can be found at http://www.activestate.com.

There are two key elements that are different when you are running CGI under NT.

  1. You do not need to call perl.exe - for example !/perl/perl.exe. The response is automatic.
  2. Sendmail.pl does not run on NT. The alternative would be to use JMail/ASPMail (FORM MAIL)or BLAT mail

Perl files need to have the extension .pl or cgi before they will run on the server. They also need to be placed into your cgi-bin directory.
